The literary arts have shaped my life in ways I’m still discovering. They’ve given me healing, purpose, and a powerful way to speak truth into the world. But I didn’t walk this journey alone—I was blessed with incredible teachers who saw something in me before I could see it in myself. They nurtured my voice, challenged me to grow, and helped me own my craft. Because of them, I found the courage to share my story. Now, I want to be that light for someone else.

My career as a poet has always been dedicated to uplifting humanity and now I am able to help uplift emerging writers and poets who are pursuing their dreams in the literary arts. 

I'm launching a $500 scholarship for a senior student in high school who is looking to pursue a career in the literary arts—someone with a heart for storytelling, a passion for books, and a spark for igniting imaginations. Whether you want to be a librarian, a poet, a literary agent, an author, or looking to pursue a career in creative writing, English, or Journalism, you are welcome to apply! Whether you write to heal, to empower, or to dream—I see you and I believe in you. this $500 scholarship celebrates creativity, resilience, and the power of words to transform lives. 

There’s so much magic in the world of words and if I can help someone begin that journey—toward a classroom, a dream, or a blank page—then that is the greatest honor of all. I’m so excited to give back in a deeply meaningful way!
